A heavenly mix, tinged with electro-particles and signed The Glitch Mob
Up for a Sunday afternoon into space? Today you are invited to chill in a light atmosphere where stars, particles, solar winds and black holes are spending time together. The Lazy Sunday Mix sends you into the cosmic depths and promises an interstellar trip that really will be hard to return.
Music and science fiction sometimes go hand in hand and when the two are connected, it gives a pretty music-astral experience. It’s a bit of the feeling I get when I listen to mixes and sounds of The Glitch Mob. To each sound, I feel like I find myself projected into the 70’s sci-fi universe, into lunar landscapes with extraordinary spaceships, into a style quite similar to Dan McPharlin’s album covers that he created for Prefuse 73 , Pretty Lights, etc.
The mix that we share with you today is no exception, in my opinion, to this rule. Performed live on Australian radio “Triple J” during their “Parklife” tour in 2010, this mix elevates you to the rank of astronaut and makes you feel like you are travelling through the stars.
