Swing House, Ghetto & Electro Funk! A hyper dynamic set delivered by Janette Slack
There are Sundays where I want to scream and break everything, to put the volume up and think of nothing. Today is one of those Sundays. To take you with me in my delirium journey, I cordially invite you to push the furniture and to listen to the Lazy Sunday Mix together!
You feeling down a little? I have the cure for you! Today, we are going to listen to the set delivered by Janette Slack at the Hong Kong’s Clockenflap Festival. But who is she? Janette began her career at the age of 17 in Hong Kong’s clubs. By 19, she was Djing in the US and at 20, she moved to London to study at the School of Audio Engineering. From there, she began to play in the biggest clubs such as Ministry Of Sound. She played in several clubs, found herself on the lineups of the biggest festivals and will be entitled as “One of the UK’s top female DJs” by Time magazine.
In 2014, she was invited to Hong Kong’s Clockenflap Festival. She played after Kool & The Gang and then warmed up for the band Travis. She then delivered a hyper powerful, an explosive mega set and gave everything she could. In other words, you’ll be amazed. Mashup, Bootleg, Swing, Electro Funk, Nufunk, etc., a mix that brings fire! Anyway, at Cb… Vinyl Record Art‘s workshop, we love it!
