Some Jazz in the Lazy Sunday!!! Why not?
It’s Sunday and we are back together for a little hour of Jazz in the Lazy Sunday Mix!
I don’t know about you, but for me, the weekend has been quite exhausting. Friends, restaurants, good wine and loud music, in short, a weekend like we like them! For this end of the week, we’re going to play it quiet. We could have had a little Hip Hop session, also listening to some real good Electro till your ears bleed or even a good Rock music session, but no, nothing like that… But we still are going to keep them for later on.
Today, we subdue the light, we get a nice atmosphere, we get a glass of Cognac, we comfortably sit in an armchair, by the fireplace it’s even better and we say thank you to Chairman Mao! And why you would say? Well Jeff Mao, legendary DJ and key figure in the underground Hip Hop scene, immersed himself in the catalog of the famous and legendary Jazz record label Blue Note to get us some gems. Here are few names to get you started: Herbie Hancock, Elvin Jones and Jackie McLean, to name a few. Sit back, relax and listen to this wonder!
