Plastic Infinite – The first 7” animated vinyl record!
The UK based duo of Dan Hayhurst and Reuben Sutherland, with their project Plastic Infinite, managed to animate a 7″ picture disc while turning round on the turnable.
Created by the audiovisual group Sculpture, this 7” picture disc, on the condition of filming it with a video camera 25fps, very high shutter speed, progressive or flashing it with a strobe 25 flashes per second, will reveal to you his animations. With this vinyl record on your turntable, there is no need to take LSD anymore!
